Le « National Science Board », un institut américain, vient de publier un rapport intitulé Science and Engineering Indicators 2006, qui décrit certaines évolutions importantes, aussi bien américaines qu’internationales, dans le domaine de la science et de la technologie (S&T) observées depuis 1990 et se projette parfois sur le plus long terme.
Science and Engineering Indicators 2006 paints the global R&D picture, gives the major US national R&D trends and describes trends, for example in research article output. It also considers mathematics and science learning and teaching and trends in science and engineering education and labour force.
